Almost everything in the Netherlands starts at the gemeente (municipality): registration in the BRP, your BSN, a change of address and official extracts.
Every municipality has its own appointment system, forms and required documents. We check the requirements of your own municipality before you go, so you do not lose a trip.
We can go with you to the appointment and translate, or prepare everything with you beforehand.

Documents to bring
- Passport, ID card or residence permit
- Rental contract, or written permission from the main occupant of the address
- Birth certificate, marriage certificate or other civil-status documents, legalised or translated if the municipality asks for this
- Your current or previous address details
- BSN, if you already have one
Depending on your personal situation, extra documents may be needed. We tell you what to bring before we meet.
